Mitch has been ADOPTED!

Great News — I have been ADOPTED! I am so happy my new dad picked me. I will be an only child living my dream life in Taos, NM.

This handsome boy is about four years old, recently neutered, UTD on all his shots, excellent teeth, heartworm negative, about 20 pounds of muscle. Gorgeous Wild Boar coloring. He is housetrained—with supervision, i.e., going out with him and watching him do his business, not just putting him out.  He has learned the dog door, but tying that to outside potty is a work in progress. Jumps in the car and loves to ride, also on the ATV.  One bad habit is rushing the door when a person goes in or out, so keep a squirt bottle handy, and invite him in or out. Mitch was surrendered by his owners who had to move to a pet-free location.  He has been an only dog, used to (demanding) lots of attention. Snuggles on the couch, in bed and wherever he can catch a lap. No serious food aggression, fed free choice, and loves his treats. Warms up to new people, after some barking.  Good on a leash. An alert watch-dog.  He is being fostered in southern Colorado; his adoption fee is $625.
